Viticultura sostenible.
Since the beginning of Doniene Gorrondona Txakolina, we have been faithful to the philosophy that governs our daily work, sustainable viticulture and minimum intervention in the winery..
One of the important points that keep us loyal to our philosophy is our work in the field. We approach vineyard management from an integral perspective and committed to environmental sustainability, with ecosystem awareness.
We also conceive winemaking as a minimal intervention aimed at enhancing the authenticity of the terroir, allowing its essence to be fully expressed.
In addition, we are pleased to share that, as of this year, we are part of Future Winemaker.
What is Futuro Viñador?
Futuro Viñador (FV) is defined as a small collective of winegrowers from different Spanish winegrowing areas, which tries to make visible:
- Sustainable field work.
- The wine that is born in the vineyard.
- The quality and unique personality of the wines.
They are winegrowers involved in their family wineries, who practice a dignified and respectful viticulture with the territory, and who value the rich viticultural heritage and the human scale of our landscape.
Within the group, there is an exchange of knowledge and experience. The members of the group share, among other things, the interest in maintaining active biodiversity in the vineyard, the recovery of the natural environment surrounding the vineyards, and the importance of waste management and reuse at each stage of the process (from the vineyard to the winery).
“We are a collective of vignerons and vignerons working together to improve our viticulture, our cultural practices, to inspire others to follow a path of honest viticulture, attached to its landscape and its people.” – Future Vigner
